Brave Rifles Special Edition
Not all of our Special Edition/Limited Editions have been Arizona themed. We've done some that have a personal connection with members of the Karas Kustoms Team. This is one of those special editions.
Paul, our Maketing Brand Strategist, served in the United States Army from 2002 - 2009. This special edition features elements specific to his service. The Brave Rifles Special Edition features either a stonewashed gunmetal grey, silver section, and polished nib OR stonewashed olive green, black section, and black nib INK fountain pen. It has been laser etched with a vintage US Army "star in a broken circle" and the unit designator: HWB 1/3 ACR which stands for Howitzer Battery, 1st Squadron,
3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Paul's service is somewhat unique in that he spent all seven years of active service in HWB 1/3 ACR, something that rarely happens in the Active Army. The pen ships with a custom made black Cordura case made by
AuxGear. The pouch is set up to carry multiple pens, a passport sized notebook (or a phone), and a pocket knife or other similar sized objects. The front of the case features loop velcro for attachment of patches. The provided patch is the Army Combat Uniform patch for the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. The back of the pouch features belt loops and lanyard hooks for multiple ways to carry the pouch. This special edition is limited to 15 gunmetal grey INK sets and 20 olive green INK sets. The set will have a MSRP of $140 dollars, $20 from each SE will be donated to the
Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust, which supports physical and psychological rehabilitation programs that provide direct service to ill, injured, or wounded veterans.

AZ Pen Meet Up Round 2
It's official, we'll be hosting round 2 of the Karas Pen Co sponsored AZ Pen Meet Up. So if you missed the first one, no worries, you can make it up by coming to our November Pen Meet Up. Or if you made it to the first one, and enjoyed yourself, come on by again - we'd love to have you.

Join us Saturday, November 12th, 2016 for the second Karas Pen Co sponsored Arizona Pen Meetup. The event will be held at the Karas Kustoms shop (126 S. Country Club Dr, Mesa, AZ 85210, on the northwest corner of Country Club and Dana ) and will begin at 6pm. We will have the full line of Karas Pen Co pens available to sample as well as any other pens hanging out around the shop. Tables will be set up to easily share pens, chat about all things writing, and generally as a way to foster the Arizona Pen Community. A brief tour of the shop will take place later in the evening. Afterwards we invite everyone to sit down, ask questions, try out pens, and enjoy an evening with like-minded pen enthusiasts. Beverages and snacks will be provided. Parking is available along Dana on the side of the shop.We do ask that you sign up on our
